NavitexPrivacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 29, 2025

1. Overview

Navitex ("we", "our", "the app") is a GPS tracker management platform operated by TrinityTech Developers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

By using Navitex you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Information We Collect

a) Account information

When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider. We do not receive or store your social-account password.

b) GPS tracker data

Your physical GPS tracking device sends location coordinates, speed, heading, satellite count, and signal quality to our servers over a secure connection. We never access the location of your phone — only the location broadcast by your GPS hardware.

c) Trip and alarm history

We store the routes your tracker travels, timestamps, and any alarm events (SOS, crash, overspeed, geofence, power, tamper) so you can review them later in the app.

d) Push notification tokens

To deliver real-time alerts we register a device push token with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). This token is tied to your account and deleted when you sign out.

e) Usage data

We collect basic crash reports and error logs to keep the service running reliably. These logs do not contain personal location data.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Display live location, speed, and status of your GPS trackers.
  • Store trip history and alarm events for your review.
  • Send push notifications for safety alarms and maintenance reminders you have enabled.
  • Authenticate your identity and protect your account.
  • Diagnose technical issues and improve service reliability.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside the services listed below.

6. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Access to our servers is restricted to authorised personnel. Authentication is handled by Firebase, which is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 compliant.

7. Children

Navitex is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
